This is not a blog post like most of my blog posts. There is very little of my own original content here. It's really just a list of my favorite fantasy films.

There are some great fantasy films that go without saying such as the Wizard of Oz, and The Hobbit. There are other films you might think of as fantasy but aren't in the same genre in my mind such as Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Mary Poppins. I have left these off of my list.

On the other hand, it's possible that I have included things that you think go without saying, or that you don't think belong in this list. And to that I say, go make your own list. Link it in the comments if you like.

These films are listed in no particular order. This is just how I found the pictures in my gallery. I have listed them with their release year and MPAA rating. Keep in mind that films before the middle of 1984 may have deserved a PG-13 rating but only received a PG because PG-13 did not yet exist.

Don't pretend like you seen all of these. there are probably one or two that you haven't even heard of, and that's okay. If you agree with my judgment on the ones that you do know, perhaps you could take the rest as a recommendation.
